Just when I thought the babes in my life couldn’t get any perf-er, this guy is an ~everyday hero~ for the Cat Protection Society of NSW. If you’ve ever had any feelings about cats, throw a couple of dollar$ this way to support their good caring work done.

I’m “not a cat person,” but the volunteers at this place gave so much patient support when my house was poly-parenting/hand-raising our kitten this summer. I didn’t post about it heaps because it felt too intimate for the internet (unusual!), but it was a really important six weeks of negotiated co-parenting friendship, round-the-clock feeding, hand-pooping, weird flashes of post-natal depression/frustration, warmth, squeeing, grief.  So I’m going to donate some to say thanks for helping us through that time, Cat Protection Society, and for doing caring work.
